End-to-end Wearable Video Solution

RedZinc has developed end-to-end solution to connect the healthcare professionals on the move with the remote control centres, experts, trainees for real-time support, advice and training purposes. The wearable camera is integrated with a cloud-based real-time video software which is specifically designed for simplicity, patient privacy, encryption and patient event management. The software platform has been designed for 5G with privacy and prioritisation features. We are active members of a number of 5G related projects for product development and research.

The wearable camera has been developed for relaying point-of-view video for ‘You See What I see’ applications with no eye obstruction to the user. It is a simple camera which is lightweight, easy to wear and emits no radiation. Some of the distant alternatives available in the market are bulky, complex to operate, obstruct user vision, and emit radiation. This makes them unsuitable for the healthcare professionals on the move such as paramedics, nurses, doctors and educators.

RedZinc is agile and responsive and has incorporated agile methodologies to collect market data, and user inputs to further develop/upgrade products in accordance with market requirement. When the pandemic arrived in 2020, RedZinc developed BlueEye Clinic (Telemedicine software) for Health Service Executive (HSE) within two weeks capitalising on the base that we had already built for the real-time video platform.
