DUBLIN – July 2019

EuCNC 2019 is the 28th edition of a successful series of a conference in the field of telecommunications, sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society and the European Association for Signal Processing, and supported by the European Commission.

This conference is one of the most prominent communications and networking conferences in Europe, which efficiently brings together cutting-edge research and world-renown industries and businesses. The conference focuses on various aspects of 5G communications systems and networks, including cloud and virtualisation solutions, management technologies, and vertical application areas.

SliceNet booth demonstrated three vertical use cases of network slicing in Smart City, Smart Grid and eHealth. This network slicing facilitates early and smooth adoption of 5G slices for verticals to achieve their demanding use cases and manages the QoE (Quality of Experience) for slice services.

RedZinc is a contributing partner of the SliceNet project and is developing video stream for healthcare applications using a dedicated network slice. Using Network Slicing, 5G networks offer significantly faster connections and lower latency which facilitates the eHealth video streaming for emergency response teams.
