DUBLIN – April 2016
The project will develop a framework to help app developers, device manufacturers and telecom operators in the evolving 5G sector, to test and benchmark new mobile applications, devices, and services utilizing existing and extended FIRE testbeds. Successful applicants will be invited to test devices and applications on the TRIANGLE infrastructure to get them 5G ready.
This framework will evaluate Quality of Experience of new mobile applications, services and devices designed to operate in the future 5G mobile broadband networks and enable certification for new mobile applications and devices.
RedZinc will use VELOX, its VPS (Virtual Path Slice) Engine to provide end-to-end QoS and develop testing and reporting tools for apps and devices .RedZinc will define QoS testing scenarios and configurations necessary to support the anticipated Quality of Experience.
There are six partners in the Triangle Project: Keysight Technologies, Belgium/Denmark, University of Malaga (UMA), Spain, University College London (UCL), UK; Dekra (previously known as AT4 Wireless), Spain, Quamotion, Belgium and RedZinc, Ireland.
“RedZinc is delighted to be at the forefront of 5G technology testing and benchmarking with its Quality of Service Slice engine.
