RedZinc has been working since its inception with Spanish companies. In fact, we developed our first big telecommunications project on network Quality of Service with Telefónica S.A.
A more recent project with Telefónica called 5GEx concerned defining the back-end infrastructure for software defined networks (SDN) and virtualised applications. In this project, led by Ericsson, we implemented a pilot in partnership with the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M) and Telefónica and other European operators where we developed control plane orchestration solution for economic traffic differentiation.
We worked with Telefónica and UC3M in an EU 5GinFIRE project where we scale tested our 5G video routers on Telefónica 5G test infrastructure at UC3M in Madrid.
We evaluated and tested our BlueEye video platform at the University of Malaga 5G lab as part of the Q4Health project for an emergency services application.
We also worked with Dekra S.A. and University of Malaga in the 5G TRIANGLE project in Malaga, where we evaluated the Quality of Experience of new mobile applications such as BlueEye video service, designed to operate in the future 5G mobile broadband networks.
We are currently in a project led by Airbus security in partnership with University of Malaga developing applications for critical communications infrastructure in 5G-EPICENTRE.
RedZinc has multiple clients and ongoing projects across Europe in many use cases such as
- Medical/ Nurse education/ training to remote students via a wearable camera and cloud-based video platform
- Virtual ward round, COVID isolation, Remote medical expert support, Resuscitation room support via a wearable camera and cloud-based video platform
- Healthcare professionals and clinicians provide video consultation to their patients via cloud-based video platform
- Emergency call centres connect with the emergency callers on instantaneous live video via a cloud-based video platform
RedZinc’s BlueEye suite of video solutions enable clinics and hospitals to deliver high quality care to patients using real-time video over a secure cloud-based network. This results in better patients outcomes, increased operational efficiencies and reduced operational costs. RedZinc technology also enables service providers to deliver and charge for applications requiring data prioritisation across public internet with QoS (Quality of Service).
We are delighted to support our Spanish partners and customers from our new office! We look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration in Malaga Tech Park.
